Like
always, this week flew by. Our days are always jammed packed and every night
after we get home from church on Sunday we always are say "what happened
to this week?". I feel like I am in a good rythmn.
We
had another successful week with investigadors in church. We had 8 this week.
The other good thing was that our attendance at church was pretty good. We had
100 people in church.
We
have a couple people planning to get baptised on the 15th and the 22nd. We are
helping them with their process of repentance and their testimonies of the
Lord. That is something that never gets old, seeing full conversion. There is
always a new confidence that the people have once they fully come to a
conversion. Its a new happiness that they havent felt before. It is a beautiful
thing.
The
work is progressing here in Puerto. This week in our zone we had 112
investigadors in church and we have 114 people that have a baptismal date for
this month and we had over 700 people attend church this last week (adding up
all the branches). We are seeing a lot of miracles here in Puerto. Last month,
we baptised 44 people in our zone and we are hoping to break that this month. I
know if we work hard and we are fulled focused in the work, the lord will bless
us and help us touch the hearts of the Miskitos here.
A
funny thing that happened last night is we were planning and we see this rat
run across the room, so we just dropped everything and started to hunt it down.
Our house isnt big at all but the rat was smart. It kept getting away and it
took us about 3 hours to get it out and kill it. Needlesstosay that rats life
was finished by my furious blows with a mop to the head. The thing was big. We
destroyed our house to get it, and even worse, there were others.
We got one
down and we bought a trap today so we will see if we can get the others this
week. Gotta love the mission life. Dont worry i will send some pics! hahahah
