Numero 89 ~ Mother's Day

heyyy everyone!
Well, this week was awesome. First off, Happy Mothers Day to all the moms out there! Know that you are a very important part in our lives! I love you Mama Jamma.
I had my last call to the fam. So good to see them.
On Wednesday, I went to Managua with a leaders capacitation. It was a good capacitation. President shared a lot of good ideas with us on how we should be better leaders and help the mission keep growing. We are capacitated to help ourselves and the other missionaries perform to their fullest and to be able to see success.

On Thursday, I did divisions with the other set of elders in the district. Their area is about 30 minutes outside of the city. It went good i had to do some interviews and get to know some of the people that are getting ready to be baptized. On friday I finally got back to my area. I felt like I hadnt been in my own area for the whole week. We did divisions which really helped us cover the whole area and visit everyone. We were really happy because a girl that was going to be baptized this last week came back from being out of town for about 2 weeks. So we got to teach her again and we are going to see if she can be baptized here in the next couple weeks.

We had to drop a couple investigadors this week because they didnt go to church but we are working hard to keep finding people.
I feel happy in my mission and I want to finish strong. It feels so weird that tomorrow my trainer will be leaving the mission. He always told me that I would be close when he left. I want to not think about how much time I have and just work. haha
I love you all. Have a great week!

From Lisa:
We had a great skype call with John on Mother's Day. It was awesome to SEE him and hear about his experiences. We asked him if his clothes were still working out OK and if he planned on bringing any of his clothes home or just leaving them there. He said he will only bring home some clothes for memories. I asked to see his shoes - wow... he's been walking A LOT! He was so proud of them. He showed us the patch he had put on his shoes there. He says he will bring home a shirt or two that shoes how worn the collars and seems are as memories for him. He loves his mission and is very happy. He thinks about how soon he can come back to visit the people he has become close to in Nicaragua. He loves the people! He is really hoping to someday go back to Esteli, Ocotal and especially Puerto.
